Congratulations to all the MCCSC students who participated in the City of Bloomington Black History Month Essay Contest. The theme for the 2024 Black History Month celebration was "Blacks in Cinema," a celebration of the profound impact and enduring contributions of Black individuals in the world of film.

Three options to provide feedback

Public Comment at the Community Meeting Option 1: Attend one of two community meetings and complete a public comment card onsite. Comment cards must be turned PRIOR to the start of the meeting.

Public Comment at the Community Meeting Option 2: Complete the online public comment form prior to the community meeting, attend one of two community meetings and check-in with the Superintendent’s assistant PRIOR to the start of the meeting in order to make public comment.

Email feedback to Board members: Email comments to comments@mccsc.edu with the subject line “Elementary SES.” The email will be forwarded to all Board members, but the feedback will not be included as public comment at the community meetings.

Attention Seniors! Scholarship Opportunity
The Bloomington Rotary Club will award up to four scholarships to local high school seniors in 2024. The scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each will be awarded to students who have distinguished themselves academically and in service to their school and community.Here is the link to the online application:Bloomington Rotary 2024 Scholarship ApplicationThe due date for the applications and references to be submitted is MARCH 31, 2024.
