Equity-Centered Sexual Identity & Gender Inclusive Policy: Staff/Community Survey

The Monroe County Community School Corporation (MCCSC) is currently developing an equity-centered sexual identity and gender inclusive policy. MCCSC officials are engaging community partners in a variety of ways in order to gain input and perspectives. Our student group has been heavily involved and has been represented by our Student Equity Ambassadors as well as students from our LGBTQIA+ community. We request your participation in this survey so that we may continue to collect community partner feedback.

Tri-North Middle School - USDOE Green Ribbon School
We are excited to announce Tri-North Middle School has received the prestigious honor of being designated a U.S. Department Of Education Green Ribbon School! This achievement will be celebrated in Washington D.C. during the week of July 8th. Dr. Martha Bowman and Brittany Farmer dedicated significant effort to compiling the qualifications, leading to this recognition. Tri-North's commitment to sustainable practices, demonstrated through the building's eco-friendly design, minimal energy consumption, and various other commendable features, played a pivotal role in securing this award. Additionally, the emphasis on STEM education and the preservation of 50 acres of natural habitat for diverse wildlife further exemplify our dedication to environmental stewardship.

Just Press Play - TEDx Talk 

Senior Class of 2025, online applications for the MCCSC 2024-25 LOTS Senior Program are now available. The Bradford Woods LOTS Senior program, provides an opportunity for selected high school seniors to receive leadership training and to accompany a fifth-grade class to Bradford Woods for their 3-day/2-night outdoor education experience. The LOTS Senior program is an integral part of the MCCSC outdoor education program due to the role the LOTS Seniors have in the overall camp experience for the fifth-grade students.  Deadline for applications is Wednesday, May 15, 2024.
